On the eve of big playoff game Cherry Creek OT picks up first offer

Mullen defensive lineman Terrell Johnson is reporting he will play his college football at Benedictine College in Kansas.  The 6-2 280 pound Johnson had 50 tackles, four of which were tackles for a loss. 


Despite getting knocked from playoffs by Valor, Pomona senior QB Justin Roberts had a strong game against the Eagles throwing for 275 yards and two scores.  Currently CSU- Pueblo and Colorado Mesa are two RMAC schools showing interest. Roberts will head out on an official visit to Southwest Minnesota December, 13.  North Dakota, Sacred Heart and the University of San Diego are also showing interest in the talented QB. 


Cherry Creek senior offensive tackle Bryce Blair is reporting a first offer stating DII Sioux Falls is on board.  Blair, has a big game this week as his Bruins take on Ralston Valley in the 5A semi-finals for a shot at the state title game.


2015 receiver Cole Lehman Chaparral had a great senior season with 67 receptions for 728 yards and nine touchdown catches.  The 6-2  185 two sport athlete is working hard for his Chap basketball squad, but football is still on his mind as schools are showing interest.  Lehman reports Southern Utah and Hope College are taking a look.  Lehman visited Hope and was impressed with what he saw at the Michigan school.  Right now Stetson, Holy Cross and Colorado Mesa are also reviewing Lehman’s game film.
