Maly Goes Ivy

2015 Regis Jesuit offensive tackle Jack Maly is taking his game to the Ivy League.

2015 Regis Jesuit offensive tackle Jack Maly is the type of person who sets a goal and goes to work.  This past offseason Maly set the goal of getting bigger and stronger while also improving his on field technique.  The hard work helped Maly become one of the state’s top offensive linemen as he helped his Regis squad to a 10-2 record.  Maly, a very strong student, also set the goal of gaining an Ivy League offer.  Today Maly reports that his hard work has paid off as he has chosen to play college football at Penn.

Along with Penn, Maly held offers from Montana, South Dakota State, Northern Colorado, Idaho State and South Dakota. Regarding his commit to Penn Maly cites academics and football stating, “You can’t pass up the academics at Penn.  They the best business school in the country.  They also play pretty good football.”

Penn suffered a rough season but an influx of talented players such as Maly could help turn things around for Head Coach Ray Priore and the Quakers. A big body at 6-5, Maly has plenty of room and length to add good weight.  A physical run blocker, Maly also improved his technique in pass protection this season.
