2014 All-State Offense

2014 PrepColorado Superstate offense highlights Colorado's best.

Quarterback

Johnny Feauto 6-0 170 Fairview SR

I looked long and hard at Elijah Ross of Eaglecrest, who was a big play threat on every touch but Feauto with nearly 4,000 pass yards and 40 scores was too good and too  consistent all year.  This is the second year a Fairview QB has been the Superstate pick. Last season Anders Hill had the honor.

Running Back

Milo Hall 5-9 185 Cherry Creek SR

Josh Odom 5-10 205 Pine Creek SR

Andrew Wingard 6-0 180 Ralston Valley SR

It is tough to beat this trio.  Hall and Odom both rushed for over 2,000 yards while leading their squads to state titles.  Wingard is a cheat on my part, the big play Wyoming commit can line up in multiple spots so I made room on the squad at the expense of numerous very good tight ends in Colorado.

Wide Receiver

Peter Anderson 5-11 155 Eaglecrest SR

Tim Ryan 5-11 185 Fairview SR

Anderson and Ryan used great quickness to perplex defenses all season.  The duo topped a very strong group of receivers in Colorado including Joe Parker of Cherry Creek, Jay Frye of Northridge and Josh Clausen of Lutheran, all of whom were close to making the Superstate squad.

Offensive Line

Jake Moretti 6-5 270 Pomona SO

Parker Hammond 6-4 250 Pine Creek SR

Jake Lauber 6-0 280 Fort Collins SR

Tim Lynott 6-4 290 Regis Jesuit SR

Salofi Gaoa 6-5 270 Rocky Mountain SR

This a great group of players, who will make their mark on Saturdays at the next level. (A couple may even get a shot at Sundays) Pomona’s Moretti, just a sophomore, is already garnering national recruiting attention.  Jack Maly of Regis and Dillon Middlemiss of Pomona were close to making this squad.
