No player in the state of Colorado has a more diverse offer sheet than 2015 Mullen defensive back James Jones. The long and versatile defensive back holds offers from each service academies, FCS powers and multiple mid-majors. Looking at his offer sheet and focusing on his post high school goals Jones has decided on four official visits. According to Jones he will make officials to Air Force, Army, Navy and Eastern Washington.
Jones will begin his national odyssey next weekend heading to Annapolis to visit Navy. Upon his return, Jones will stay close to home taking his official to Air Force, followed with a trip to New York to visit Army on the 23rd. Jones then heads west taking his final trip the last weekend of January to Eastern Washington.
Whichever program Jones opts for will gain a very talented defensive back that is equally comfortable as a safety or corner. Due to his length Jones and instincts, Jones is great in coverage and also as a tackler. Most impressive is his work as a special team’s player. In this capacity as a special team’s ace, Jones has the ability to contribute early to the program he chooses.
