Recruiting News and Notes

Colorado's best 2015 recruits are staying busy as signing day fast approaches.

All-State Rocky Mountain linebacker Max McDonald says recruiting is “going well” This weekend the playmaking linebacker is taking a visit to Eastern Washington.

Former Denver East prepster and now Upland California High School athlete Jalen Moore’s recruitment took a hit when he moved to California, but things have rebounded for the high motor, hard hitting safety who reports interest from Sacramento State, Hawaii and Oregon State.  Moore says he will visit Oregon State this weekend.

Speedy Valor Christian athlete Danny Rambo says he is taking his official visit to South Dakota this weekend.

Bruising 6-3 270 pound Chaparral offensive lineman Brandon Leahey says Northern Colorado and South Dakota State are showing some interest. Leahey says he will possibly walk on at Utah State, Colorado or Oregon State.

Rangeview outside linebacker Jaelon Wright reports he has three visits set up for Fort Lewis, Aurora University in Illinois and Cornell College in Iowa.  Wright is an undersized 200 pound outside backer but he has made plays his entire high school career and will be able to contribute early on special teams.

Denver East receiver Jordan Willis is currently focused on basketball scoring seven points and pulling down nine rebounds a game, but he also has to think about his college football options.  The 6-5 receiver has interest from multiple levels hearing from DII Washburn in Kansas, the University of North Dakota, CSU-Pueblo and Glendale Community College in Arizona.  With tremendous upside, Willis has his best football in front of him.
