Clausen Looking at Options

2015 Lutheran High School receiver Josh Clausen looking at options.

This season, helping his Lutheran squad to a 10-1 record, athlete Josh Clausen had 58 catches and 19 touchdowns, gaining All-Conference and All-State honors.  The key to Clausen’s game is great size at 6-4 200 pounds and solid speed.  The athletic Clausen is also having a monster basketball season for his 10-1 team averaging nearly 18 points a game and eight boards a game.

Size, production and athleticism like that possessed by Clausen does not go unnoticed and as such Clausen is gaining attention from multiple levels of the college game.  Clausen reports an offer from current DII champs CSU-Pueblo.

Clausen also reports some interest from Wyoming and the University of Kansas.  Clausen likes Wyoming and is wait and see mode regarding the Cowboys.  Clausen says the Jayhawks have invited him to be a walk-on in the hope of Clausen gaining a scholarship in a couple of seasons.

The long, 6-4 Clausen weighs 200 pounds and has plenty of room to add good weight.  Although he is not a speedster, Clausen, a long strider, is quicker than he looks as evidenced by his 20 yards per reception this past season.  CSU-Pueblo is at the apex of their division due to the ability to judge talent.  Clausen is a great example as a player who potentially has his best football in front of him.
