The past six weeks have been huge for 2015 Cherry Creek offensive lineman Bryce Blair. First, the 6-5 tackle helped pave the way for a Bruin run game that was key to Cherry Creek winning a 5A title. Also, Blair saw an increase in his recruiting attention which culminated this weekend with a verbal commit to the University of North Dakota.
Breaking down his commit and reasons for joining North Dakota football Blair says, “the feel is perfect, the school has exactly what I need and the football part is perfect to!” In preparation for college ball Blair says, “I need to gain quite a bit of weight and work on some basic technic stuff”
As a player Blair has tremendous upside and is a great addition for UND. A long 6-5 250 pounds, Blair is a very good run blocker and is athletic enough to grow into a solid pass blocker. As he fills out his frame Blair should be able to, at some point, contribute at North Dakota. Regarding what he brings to North Dakota Blair says, “I’m hoping that when I show up people will see my work ethic and that will get them fired up so we all can start grinding to win some games!”
