Few athletes in Colorado have gone from relative unknown to multi-offer prospect as quickly as 2016 Denver South lineman Terriek Roberts. In the past week Roberts, a 6-6 260 pound offensive lineman, has picked up multiple mid-major offers and it could be just a matter of time before Power 5 schools reach out.
Roberts is reporting he gained an offer today from the University of Wyoming. The Cowboy offer, Roberts’ fifth, is in addition to offers this week from Kansas, Colorado State, Nevada and Utah State. Beyond this week’s streak of offers Roberts says he is hearing from Colorado and Nebraska.
A two way lineman, who has also played tight end, Roberts says schools are looking at him as a left tackle or defensive end. Right now Roberts says he is more comfortable at tackle. This offseason Roberts says, “I’m working on my speed, lateral quickness, and my leverage.”
As the offseason continues Roberts will continue to gain interest and he will soon see his offer sheet move into double digits.
