Multiple sources are reporting and Jo Jo Domann has confirmed that he has received an offer from Nebraska. Further, Domann also today picked up an offer from Cal. Today’s two offers are part of a very impressive sheet that includes Kansas State, Wyoming, Colorado, Colorado, Air Force Nevada and Utah State.
Domann, one of Colorado’s most versatile and dominant players, is a key component for a Colorado Springs Pine Creek squad that has won back to back state title. This past season Domann had a season for the books. Defensively Domann had seven interceptions 10 passes defended with two caused fumbles and a blocked kick. Offensively, Domann was a big play receiver with 49 catches and 10 touchdowns.
Domann, who received the Nebraska offer while on an unofficial visit to Lincoln, was able to catch up with former Colorado prep defenders and current Husker defensive backs Eric Lee and Avery Anderson. Regarding Lee, formerly of Valor Christian and Anderson, Domann’s high school teammate at Pine Creek, Domann says, “They are doing really well, both balling and liking it at Nebraska!” Domann was also impressed with new Nebraska Head Coach Mike Riley and his staff stating, “They’re awesome! They know what they are doing and are going to win!” Nebraska, like the other schools recruiting Domann, is looking at him as a strong safety or outside linebacker. A tweener, Domann has the skill set to play in the box and cover, giving the defense he plays in great versatility.
Domann goes on to report he is hearing from Michigan and may visit the Wolverines on March 25th. Of late the Wolverines, under Jim Harbaugh, have made inroads in Colorado, offering 2017 prospects Dylan McCaffrey of Valor Christian and Jake Moretti of Pomona. Domann, a smart and versatile defender, is very reminiscent of the players Harbaugh recruited while at Stanford.
