Lynch commits, McCaffrey picks up another major offer and Moretti continues to gain big time suitors.

The cast of players that make up the Colorado prep recruiting classes of 2016 and 2017 are two of the best in recent history boasting numerous athletes that are gaining national attention.  This week was a banner week for recruits as they gained offers from many of the top programs in the country.


This week, UCLA came calling in Colorado looking for quarterbacks offering Matt Lynch of Legacy and today, Dylan McCaffrey of Valor Christian.  The two players are very similar, big, sneaky athletic and with arms capable of making the necessary throws.   Further, both fit nicely in the Bruin offensive system.  Lynch, while on his trip to UCLA this week committed.  McCaffrey, who holds offers from Michigan and Penn State.


Long a state known for producing offensive linemen, Colorado again has a crop of linemen drawing regional and national attention.  Topping the list is 2017 Pomona offensive tackle Jake Moretti.  Today Moretti picked up offers from Oklahoma State and Wisconsin.  From the class of 2016 Valor’s Dillon Reinkensmeyer picked up an offer from UNLV this week.  Fellow 2016 tackle Terriek Roberts of Denver South gained an ASU offer while Ashton Torres of Cherry Creek picked up an Idaho offer.
