The Colorado class of 2017 continues to gain offers at a rapid pace, the latest coming for Cherry Creek defensive end Jon Van Diest as Colorado State is now board. The Colorado State offer is in addition to an earlier offer this month from the University of Colorado.
Van Diest is a high motor multi-talented defender that is tough against the run, can cover and has registered over 20 sacks in his young career.
Regarding his two in state offers Van Diest says, “I think awesome would best put it. It's a great feeling to have knowing that both Colorado school offered.” Not one to become complacent, Van Diest is working hard in the weightroom, practicing with his Cherry Creek squad and hitting college camps throughout the summer. Van Diest will camp at Colorado, Nebraska, Missouri, Stanford and UCLA. Due to his busy schedule he will not be able to camp at Colorado State, but he plans on making a couple of visits to Fort Collins
With two recent offers and the opportunity to display his impressive game at multiple camps, Van Diest will add to his offer sheet in the near future.
