Colorado high school football and Power 5 fans are well aware of JoJo Domann from Pine Creek in Colorado Springs. The OLB/WR is a versatile high impact player who was a key part to Pine Creek’s 2014 4A state title. Further, Domann is gaining a very impressive list of offers from Pac 12, Big 10 and Big 12 programs.
Less well known and hungry for the opportunity to shine and help his Pine Creek squad repeat, is JoJo’s younger brother Brock Domann. Brock, a 2017 quarterback that sat much of last season due to a shoulder injury, did manage to post solid numbers backing up senior Tommy Lazzaro. The dual threat youngster had nearly 500 yards of combined offense while scoring four times.
In preparation for taking the reins of a state champ O, Domann has focused on getting faster and building his upper body strength. Domann is also confident in replacing long time starter Lazzaro stating, “I know we are two different types of quarterbacks and with the talent we will have this year, we will have a great year through the air.” Part of Brock’s confidence comes from getting to play with his brother JoJo. Regarding his versatile and talented older brother Domann says, “He has always been my brother so I wasn't surprised when he got so big! He has always been elite and we have a connection that will be great! He's my security blanket and can count on him to catch it on big down plays.” Beyond his big bro Domann cites young playmakers Wyatt Wieland, Collin Willis, Peter Isais, and Demario Portillos.
This summer Domann will have multiple opportunities to hone his skills and put his game on display as he camps at Kansas State and Wyoming. Kansas State and Colorado want Domann to send game film from this upcoming season. The 6-1 195 pound quarterback has the pressure taking over a state title offense and living up to his brother’s reputation, but he has the talent, skill and confidence to make that happen.
