Escobedo Sets Decision Schedule

2016 Regis Jesuit defensive tackle Ace Escobedo talks offers and team.

As he preps for his senior season, 2016 Regis Jesuit High School defensive tackle Ace Escobedo reports that he has recently gained two new offers.  The 270 pound tackle has now added Montana and Yale to his offer sheet. 

Discussing a timeline for his commit Escobedo says “I'm hoping to make a decision before our first game so I can focus on the season.”  Beyond Montana and Yale, Escobedo holds offers from Penn, Dartmouth, Air Force, Northern Colorado and South Dakota.  Talking about his upcoming decision Escobedo states, “most important is education, then I focus on the program and if I fit into it as a player, but I want the school that has the best education for me.”

Regis starts the season with a giant game facing defending state champ Cherry Creek.  Talking about his team Escobedo says, “I think we look great!  We got a lot of work in this summer and it really helped the younger players understand the game.”  Talking about his Regis defense and players to watch Escobedo immediately mentions linebacker Drew Schlegel and Will Kulick as well as Alec Hamilton and Ricky Munoz.

The hardworking, smart and talented Escobedo has a game that transfers to the next level.  Further, his great academics make him a great fit for Ivy schools and the Academies.
