Right now the Pine Creek Eagles are on the march, starting 3-0 as they continue their defense of last year’s 4A title. Boasting a very strong defense highlighting Nebraska commit Jo Jo Domann, sack master Jack Wibbells as well as fellow returning starters Travis Meachum, Kacin Nowlin and Nathan Leithead.
On the other side of the ball the Eagles are not as experienced breaking in new playmakers and linemen. One key player that looks to have found his stride is junior quarterback Brock Domann. Last week, in a dominating win over Dakota Ridge, the 6-1 200 pounder, threw for 185 yards and three scores. In a highlight for Domann he hit his older brother Jo Jo for a 44 yard score. Looking at the game, Domann was gracious stating, “My linemen did great and we got in a rhythm. As far as teammates Domann points out receiver Peter Isais, defensive back Collin Willis and lineman Hunter Hamerick.
Domann is garnering initial recruiting interest reporting that Colorado and Kansas State have been consistently in contact. Recruiters are well aware on Pine Creek, one of Colorado’s top programs, and Domann has been on the radar due to his name, but at some point he will gain an offer because of his game.
