Chris Helbig posts another monster game.

Top players lead their teams with big games.

PrepColorado loves the guys in the trenches, but with full candor admits we overlook the grunts.  One unit that deserves recognition is the Windsor offensive line.  In a grind it out 21-7 victory over Greeley West the Windsor line, great at run blocking, paved the way for nearly 300 rush yards.

Denver East QB/S Deron Harrell threw three TD passes and had a key interception helping his Angels defeat Boulder 33-28.  In the loss TJ Jones had three rushing touchdowns.

Don’t sleep on Grandview!  The Wolves now 5-1, last night took it to Cherokee Trail 42-7.  In the win junior running back Hayden Blubaugh had three touchdowns.

Weekly Chris Helbig giant game update 500 yards and five scores in the air and a rush touchdown in a win over Berthoud.

Longmont senior Conlon Berger helped keep his squad unbeaten with three touchdowns as the Trojans won over Loveland 42-6.  Berger had over 110 rush yards on only seven carries.

Devyn Morgan of Pueblo West rushed for, wait for it, 409 yards and seven TDs as the Cyclones defeated Palmer!

Dylan Holt of Vista Peak had 10 catches and two TDs as his Bison defeated Englewood.

Senior running back Dominick Fletcher of Mesa Ridge rushed 200 yards and two scores in a win against Widefield.

Junior Cameron Gonzales of Pomona scored three rush TDs and had 169 yards on the ground helping Pomona defeat Bear Creek 35-7.  Gonzales and crew will need another big game as his team faces a very tough Columbine squad this week in what will be one of the season’s most physical games.

Junior Mark Muma of Legend had his best game of the season in a victory against Doherty passing for 180 yards and two scores to go with 137 yards and a score on the ground.

Durango remained unbeaten with a win against Liberty.  The big play threat of the game for the Demons was senior RB Lawrence Mayberry who averaged 15 yards a carry on the way to 196 rush yards.  Mayberry added a 37 yard reception.

Ty Murphy of Falcon had his best game of the season going 12 of 15 and throwing three scores.  Murphy added 96 rush yards and a score helping Falcon gain their first win of the season.

Tyler Bosshardt of Rifle had 210 yards and three scores pacing his team to a victory over Grand Junction Central.
