Few players in the state of Colorado have a higher ceiling than Fairview senior defensive end Kailash Graham- Bell. Standing 6-6 and weighing 230 pounds, Graham-Bell plays with motor, good speed and has a frame that will allow him to add significant great weight. Beyond his high ceiling, Graham-Bell produces on the field with 11 tackles for loss, 64 total tackles, an interceptions and two fumbles caused.
Opening even more doors for Graham-Bell is a great GPA and very strong test scores. Boasting a 3.9 GPA and scoring a 33 on the ACT, Graham-Bell has garnered significant Ivy interest. Talking about his potential Ivy suitors Graham-Bell says, “I have been taking to a bunch of schools, but my greatest interest at the moment is in the Ivy league. I am taking officials to Harvard, Dartmouth, Columbia, and Yale in December and January.” Right now Graham-Bell holds offers from Yale, Dartmouth, Columbia and the University of San Diego.
Also showing interest in Graham-Bell are Wyoming, San Diego State., Cal poly, South Dakota State and CSU Pueblo. Regarding his recruitment Graham-Bell says,” Ultimately my preference is to play high level football and get a good education so the Ivies are a good choice for that, but I am not completely locked in on just Ivies.”
Talking football Graham-Bell says,” I haven't been able to focus on and train for football in the off season because I am three-sport athlete.” But he feels he has a great upside to get stronger as he concentrates only on football. As Graham-Bell takes his trips it will be interesting to see what decision he makes with so many great options.
