With six interceptions and 10 passes defended, 2016 Cherry Creek defender Javier Craft cemented himself as one of Colorado’s top cover corners.
Despite his consistent and productive play on one of Colorado’s most high profile teams, Craft had not received an offer since Adams State last spring. That changed this week as he picked up two very good DII offers. Craft is reporting he has gained offers from Nebraska-Kearney and CSU-Pueblo.
Beyond his DII offers, Craft has heard from Colorado State and Kansas. Craft also reports potential new suitors stating, “Kansas State has been talking to me a little. Air Force will offer if I get my ACT up and I'm pretty sure North Dakota is about to offer.”
Craft is very happy with the DII offers, but he does have the goal of playing DI football. Right now Craft’s plan is to look at his options and make a decision sometime in January.
