Valor Christian QB Dylan McCaffrey picks up Nebraska offer.

Big Week for Football Family

The last seven days have been pretty impressive for the McCaffrey family.  Saturday 2017 Valor Christian quarterback Dylan McCaffrey scored twice leading his Eagles to a come from behind 29-26 state title victory against Pomona high school.  A few hours later Dylan’s older brother Christian, a sophomore at Stanford, posted 461 yards in a 41-22 win over USC, helping him surpass Barry Sanders for the most total yards in a single season.

For Dylan, the good news continues as he reports this evening he has gained an offer from the University of Nebraska.  McCaffrey, was deadly efficient this season, passing for 2,800 yards and 27 scores with only four interceptions.  The Cornhusker offer is in addition to offers from multiple Power 5 schools including Michigan, UCLA and LSU.

Potentially next for the McCaffrey family and this exciting seven day of football is a Heisman Trophy for Christian.  Over the past few days, after being named a finalist, McCaffrey has even moved into a front runner position for college football’s premier individual award.
