Elijah Leyva of Pomona picks up three DII offers

Big Week for Colorado’s Best

The Cain brothers of Heritage High School, Marshall and Payton were on a visit this weekend at Colorado. The Buffs would like the two way linemen as preferred walk-ons. The University of Montana is in contact.  Navy is showing interest in Marshall while Air Force talks to both Cains.  Northern Colorado is also in contact.

It took a while, but schools started to figure it out as Pomona senior DE/OLB Elijah Leyva picked up three offers this past week with CSU-Pueblo, Black Hills State and Fort Lewis all got on board with the productive, versatile, high motor defender who is one of the state’s best. 

Another of Colorado’s top defenders, Chris Reese of Columbine holds two offers with the University of San Diego and Davidson having made offers.  Reese is also hearing from Wyoming, Yale and School of Mines.

Cherry Creek tight end Dante Sparaco has had a solid December picking up two offers thus far with Air Force and Utah State both opting for the services of the 265 pounder.

CSU-Pueblo also offered Cherry Creek defensive lineman David Imola. 

Overland wide receiver Sam Warren has picked up offers from Mesa, Chadron State, Fort Lewis, CSU-Pueblo, Washburn and Adams State.

Logan Paulsen will be attending the National Under Classmen (NUC) All American Senior week & game starting December 27th. Paulsen, a 2016 longsnapper and tight end is hearing from Augustana University and Northern Colorado.
