2016 Arapahoe athlete commits to North Dakota

Busy December for Colorado’s Top Performers

Senior David Imola of Cherry Creek reported last week that he picked up an offer from the University of San Diego.  Imola, one of the state’s best interior defensive linemen, is a great student up for the academic rigors of USD.  Imola, who garnered multiple All-State honors for his play this season also gained an offer from CSU-Pueblo earlier this month.

San Diego also made a December offer to Regis senior linebacker Drew Schlegel.  Schlegel had a great senior season posting 117 tackles, five sacks and three interceptions.

2016 Evergreen quarterback Dylan Reifeis committed to Nebraska-Kearney earlier this week.  Reifeis, at 6-1 170, runs the forty in the upper 4.5s and is a very good athlete.

2016 ThunderRidge defensive back Trevor O’Hearn picked up an offer from Benedictine college in Kansas.

O’Hearn’s teammate, 2016 defensive lineman Rhett Hanson is popular this December picking up three DII offers.  Hanson, at 6-3 255, plays defensive end, but could eventually move inside, reports offers from Western State, Nebraska-Kearney and Concordia.

Earlier this month the University of North Dakota picked up a steal as 2016 Arapahoe athlete Ray Haas made a commit.  Haas, at 6-5 195 pounds, played safety and receiver for his 10-1 Arapahoe squad gaining multiple post season honors for his play.  Haas pops on film due to his great size, but more importantly his smart and physical play.   UND’s plans for Haas, with his skill set and length, to become a versatile outside backer.  I cannot wait to see this young man in a couple of years at 225 to 230 pounds!

2017 Pine Creek offensive lineman Tanner Toussaint is reporting early interest from Utah State.  Toussaint is one of Colorado’s most experienced offensive linemen having started for his Eagle’s for over two years.
