PrepColorado All-Stater, Javier Craft of Cherry Creek, is reporting he has gained an offer from Northern Colorado. The polished DB, is one of Colorado’s top cover corners and was a key piece of a very talented Cherry Creek defense.
The 2016 defender gained the Northern Colorado offer while on a visit to Greeley. The UNC offer is Craft’s first FCS offer. This offer is on top of DII offers from CSU-Pueblo, Adams State and Nebraska-Kearney. Craft, who had six interceptions and ten passes defended, has stated he would like to play DI ball and, the Colorado State legacy would especially like to play for the Rams, but CSU looks like they are focusing on the Juco ranks for DB talent.
This trip to UNC is the first of multiple visits Craft will take over the next two weeks leading up to signing day. Craft next hits South Dakota followed by CSU-Pueblo. As teams review their needs and check their lists, Craft’s coverage skills and production will be tough to pass on so it is very likely Craft will add to his offer sheet.
