Cherry Creek DT David Imola commits to Idaho.

Last Big Push Before NLI Day

Cherry Creek defensive tackle David Imola is reporting he has made his commit to Idaho.  Imola, an All-Stater from multiple publications the past two seasons, is an old school run stuffer who was the inside anchor of the very good Creek defense.

Also, Imola’s Creek teammate, linebacker Steven O’Malley, this past weekend, made his verbal to CSU-Pueblo.  O’Malley is a rocket on the field and one of the state’s best defenders.  I have always maintained if O’Malley was a couple of inches taller he would have an extensive DI offer sheet.

Another under recruited prospect snapped up by the ThunderWolves is Niwot athlete Blake Montgomery.  The 6-3 225 pound Montgomery says he will play defensive end or tight end for the ThunderWolves.

Outside backer Hunter Harms (Top 10 football name) of Columbine will also play at CSU-Pueblo.

Drew Schlegel of Regis will walk-on at Kentucky.  Schlegel, whose father played for the Wildcats in the early 90s, will play weak side backer.

Really glad to see Chatfield QB Isaac Schely opt for Georgetown.  The 6-5 220 pound QB has is best football in front of him and could be the steal of this class.

Longmont athlete Conlan Berger reports he will continue his career at Colorado School of Mines.

Ayden Eberhardt of Loveland will play at Wyoming.

Rangeview DE Devon Harris will attend Concordia College.

Receiver Connor Williams of Arapahoe has committed to Western.

Receiver Ryan Sayre of Douglas County will play at Chadron State.

Wiggins athlete Kaeson Risner will walk-on at Kansas State.  Risner’s older brother Dalton is the starting center for the Wildcats.  Risner joins Javier Craft as Colorado prepsters that will play at Kansas State.  The 6-5 225 pound athlete is an intriguing athlete who could play multiple positions in college.

Windsor athlete Jake Shields will play at the University of Sioux Falls.

Mullen DB Andre Thompson has opted for Eastern New Mexico.

Heritage defensive tackle Kenton Hewitt will play at Black Hills State.

Mullen’s Buck Thenell verballed to Colorado Mesa.

Valor duo Joe Lilya and Carson Cooper both gained offers from Puget Sound.
