2017 Chatfield athlete Dalton Keene gains offers from Iowa State and Nebraska.

Dalton Keene gains Power 5 offer.

On the heels of this month’s 2016 signing day, which saw many of Colorado’s best opt for Power 5, mid-major and FCS schools, recruiting has exploded for a very talented 2017 Colorado class.  Of this group no prospect is hotter than Chatfield athlete Dalton Keene.

In the past week Keene has picked up offers from Iowa State and the University of Nebraska.  Why not?  Keene is one of the most interesting athletes in the mountain region.  Standing 6-5 and weighing 230 pounds, Keene has done it all for this Chatfield squad during his career.  Beyond the recent offers Keene holds an offer from Colorado State

Last season Keene played primarily running back and linebacker.  Due to his impressive size multiple positions are possible for Keene at the college level.  Tight end is a natural fit as is DE/OLB.  Beyond his prototypical size, Keene runs in the 4.7s, is a beast in the weightroom and is fluid in change of direction.

On top of his impressive athletic skill set, Keene is also a very strong student gaining All-Academic honors this past season.  With a growing offer sheet as well as all the attributes Dis are looking for in an athlete, Keene will, throughout this spring and summer gain an impressive offer sheet moving into the double digits.
