Vista Peak WR gains offer from South Dakota

Busy week for Colorado's top players.

Vista Peak receiver Dylan Holt picked up a South Dakota offer this week.  Holt is one of the most impressive athletes in Colorado and this first offer will not be his last.  Last season, the 6-1 Holt had 57 receptions and eleven TDs.

2017 Niwot athlete Alex Oelsner hit California recently stopping at Cal Poly and UCLA.  The 6-4 240 pounder is a good locking DE/OLB prospect that will gain more college attention.

2017 Broomfield defensive tackle Jax Pollane has made a visit to Montana State.  He follows in the tradition of very good Broomfield interior defenders.

2017 Poudre quarterback James Campbell recently made a visit to the University of Wyoming.  Campbell is a very intriguing prospect due to his dual threat ability.  Campbell has very good wheels and is improving as a thrower.  Last season, Campbell had over 1,300 yards of offense and at times struggled as a thrower, but there is little doubt about the 6-2 180 pounder’s athleticism.

Another 2017 quarterback garnering attention is Grand Junction’s Jax Nourse.  Nourse reports he will attend the All-Poly Camp this year.  Nourse had over 2,200 yards of offense, but at 220 pounds schools may like the big athlete as a linebacker.

Windsor OLB Corte Tapia had a busy week taking a trip to Colorado State and competing at the Blue-Grey Football Combine.  Tapia impressed at the combine and will continue to gain offers over the next few months.

2017 center Tanner Toussaint of Pine Creek made a visit to check out the spring game at School of   Mines.  Toussaint, a very strong student is a very good academic fit for Mines.

Wyoming is showing interest in Denver East FS/WR Connell Maxwell Jr.  Maxwell is an impressive looking athlete standing 6-2 and weighing in at 195 pounds.  Maxwell is a long, athletic pass catcher.

I’m a big fan of 2018 Highlands Ranch safety Ray Robinson this week he picked up a Colorado State offer to go with his earlier Colorado offer.  Now with both in states on board, I expect programs from outside the state to start showing interest.  Robinson reported earlier this week that he is gaining increasing Pac 12 attention.
