The June camp season brings the opportunity for talented players to put their games on display. Smart college coaches, when they see that talent don’t hesitate and make the offers.
Of late the University of Colorado has been active, just recently offering big ThunderRidge tackle Heston Paige and today making an offer to young 2019 Valor talent Joshia Davis. Davis pops on the field and on film, and this past season managed to stand out on a talented Valor team that won a state title. Davis, compiled 844 yards working as a runner, receiver and returner. Colorado was smart to make this offer. Davis is a talent, who will, over the next three years, compile an impressive list of offers as he transitions into becoming Valor’s next big playmaker.
2017 Grandview senior Hayden Blubaugh picked up a Wyoming offer this weekend. The 6-0 185 pounder, was an All-Stater tearing it up for nearly 2,400 rush yards and 28 scores.
2019 Eaglecrest OT Barrett Miller is busy as well having attended Michigan, Michigan State and Ohio State camps in the past week. The 6-5 245 pound Miller is a player to watch due to his great frame and athleticism, most impressive, Miller, for a youngster, is very physical.
Miller’s teammate, defensive end Elijah Brockman, camped at Air Force and Wyoming over the past few days.
Fossil Ridge LB Nick Edridge hit the academies this week camping at Navy and Air Force.
6-4 270 pound 2018 Mesa Ridge offensive tackle Brian Crooks camped at Northern Colorado.
2017 Heritage OL Matt McClurg camped at Wyoming over the past two days.
Darrion Alton Grand Junction Central gained a Northern Colorado offer.
