2017 Eaglecrest two way lineman Elijah Brockman is reporting he has made his verbal commit to the Air Force Falcons. The 6-3 250 pound two- way lineman is one of the hidden gems in a talented 2017 Colorado recruiting class.
Regarding his Air Force decision Brockman says, “The key piece to my decision would have to be the coaching staff. The Air Force coaching staff is a group of amazing coaches that give tough love cheering you on when you are doing right but is also there to keep you in check when you step across the line. That's how my parents have always raised me, and I would have it no other way.”
Brockman is very good on both sides of the ball, but says Air Force wants him to play defense. Due to his size and frame, Brockman has the ability to play multiple spots on the defensive line giving him front versatility. Looking at his game Brockman states, “there is always room to improve in everything you do but if I had to choose one to really focus on I would have to say using my hands more with pass rushing and getting extension from the offensive lineman so that I can make a tackle or get to the quarterback faster.”
Brockman is a great fit for Air Force, a good student as well as a football player with good upside. Air Force was lucky to gain this summer verbal on a player that was set to add to his offer sheet.
