With close to ten offers ranging across the Big 12, Big 10 and Mountain West, Cherokee Trail TE/DE Kendall Gregory-McGhee of Aurora, Colorado says, "I am getting closer to narrowing down my choices to a few key places."
The latest school to offer KGM is San Diego State so along with the Aztecs, Colorado, Minnesota, Boise State, Wyoming, TCU, UNLV and Colorado State have all offered. Kendall, who is a stand out at both tight end and defensive end, is being looked at to play either position in college, depending on the program's specific needs. Last season Kendall scored 10 times on 20 receptions from his tight end position, while on defense, he was a disruptive force off the edge for a very good Cherokee Trail D.
Recently, Kendall attended camp at Arizona State and was able to spend time with Sun Devil tight end coach Dan Cozzetto, recruiting coordinator Matt Lubick as well as head man Dennis Erickson. According to Kendall the ASU staff, "told me that they would like me to do an official visit this fall."
Kendall recently returned from Boulder having visited the Colorado team camp. Kendall spoke with coach Hawkins and had, "another great visit." The University of Colorado was one of the first schools to offer Kendall back in May.
PrepColorado will keep you posted as Kendall hones in on his favorites and eventually makes his choice.
