SEC Offer for T-Ridge Lineman

Lineman Dillon Bonnell of ThunderRidge High in Highlands Ranch, Colorado gained a suprise SEC offer today.

ThunderRidge lineman Dillon Bonnell of Highlands Ranch, Colorado has just informed PrepColorado that he has received his second D1 offer.  The 6-4 275 pound lineman now has an offer on the table from the Kentucky Wildcats of the SEC. The Kentucky offer came as a surprise, Bonnell states,  "I had no idea that the University of Kentucky was interested, I have not even talked to them personally. Dontae Wright (Kentucky assistant) e-mailed me and said they want me to come and play for them and I have a scholarship to the University of Kentucky. So I have no idea about positions and other specifics, all I know is that the paper work is in the mail."

This is Bonnell's second offer in as many weeks.  Earlier this month the University of Wyoming offered the big tackle.  Last season, Bonnell gained All-League and All-State honors as a junior as his team won a league title and went 10-1.

Along with football, Bonnell is a member of the Highlands Ranch baseball team as well as being an honor student with a 4.0 GPA.  This past weekend, Bonnell spent time in Manhattan, Kansas as he enjoyed K-State's junior day. With these two offers coming in the past few days, look for more offers to come Bonnell's way.

Keep an eye out as PrepColorado will soon be posting video of this top Colorado lineman prospect.
