Changing Minds

For the third time in the past few weeks a high profile Colorado recruit changes their commit.

Numerous things happen this time of year in the world of recruiting. Of late, many changes have taken place in regard to Colorado prep football recruiting. The first change took place last month as versatile athlete Danny Spond, a commit to Colorado last spring, reopened his recruitment and began the process of getting in contact and making visits to schools that had previously offered. Spond is still considering Colorado, but he is also very interested in Stanford as well as other programs.

Last week, explosive and well travelled defensive end Chris Martin of Grandview High School committed to Cal. Martin, one of the top prospects in the nation, was an early commit to Notre Dame. As changes started to take place in South Bend Martin started a flirtation with Florida, Oklahoma and USC. Originally from northern California, Martin is very familiar with the Cal program.

Events stayed interesting this past weekend as talented Littleton High School running back Mister Jones committed to Texas A&M. Jones had originally chosen Colorado, but of late had become more and more interested in Texas A&M.
