Morgan Makes Commit

Greeley West All-Stater Max Morgan, one of Colorado's most versatile performers, opts for Mountain West suitor.

PrepColorado has confirmed that Greeley West All-State linebacker Max Morgan has committed to Colorado State.

Morgan, who registered 160 tackles this season working as a linebacker and safety, added two interceptions, two fumbles recovered and one sack to go with the impressive number of tackles.

Morgan was also a very strong offensive player for his 11-1 Spartan squad as he rushed 257 rush yards and four touchdowns to go with 29 Receptions and six scores while playing fullback, tight end, H-back and slot.

Conventional wisdom had Morgan joining his two older brothers, Rex and Blake at BYU, but the opportunity to stay in Colorado trumped having a trio of Morgans on the Cougar roster. Along with Colorado State, Wyoming had also officially offered.

The Colorado State commit highlights a December that has seen Morgan named to multiple All-State lists in Colorado.
