PrepColorado has just learned that the Syracuse Orangemen have offered 2011 Denver Mullen running back Adonis Ameen-Moore. Late last week Syracuse assistant Nathaniel Hackett made the offer. The new offer raises Ameen-Moore's total to five with Kansas State, Colorado State, Colorado and Northwestern already on board.
Syracuse has found the long trip to the mountains well worth it. Last year, Syracuse secured a commit from Ameen-Moore's Mullen teammate, QB Jonny Miller. Ameen-Moore has the opportunity, this upcoming season, to put the cap on a very special high school career that has seen the running back start since his freshman season, secure multiple All-State honors and help win two state titles.
Ameen-Moore is excited about Syracuse but he is displaying a very good poker face regarding his five offers stating, "I'm pretty cool with all the schools that have offered me." Ameen-Moore most likely will sit tight this summer and not attend camps now that he has offers on the table.
A big back, with solid speed, the ability to handle the work load and proven productivity, Ameen-Moore should gain more offers as the season approaches.
