Marseille Commits to Memphis

Memphis bolstered its offensive with its tenth commitment on the year. Mike Marseille a 6'5'' 285 guard out of Ft. Pierce Central joined the Tigers class today. Marseille has been a road grader for his team the past two seasons and looks to continue his success at the next level.

"There were multiple things that stand out to me. I love the atmosphere and the feel there. I know I can get a good education and I know while I'm there I can get help with classes if I need it. The have a really good tutoring program, and that was something that really stood out to me," Marsallie stated.

Marsallie took his official to Memphis last Friday, and it didn't take long for him and his coaches to hit it off.

"I really love the coaches; they understand where I'm coming from since a few are from Florida themselves. It made me really comfortable with them. I meet a couple of players last weekend during my official too, and it went really well," he quoted.

Playing time is always on any player's mind, especially incoming freshman. The depth chart is one thing however, that the young lineman is excited about for next season.

"Both of Memphis's guards are graduating and the coaches say I can get some early playing time if I come ready to go. The coaches can't wait for me to get in. I'll be there this summer and I'm going to wrestle this winter to stay in shape. I want to be at my best when I get on campus," Marsallie explained.

When asked about his commitment he revealed that he has an offer from FAU and still has an official visit planned, but his heart is all Tiger.

"I have an offer from FAU and I'm still planning a visit there, but I'm solid on Memphis," he finished.
