Boone Speedster is top 2012 WR

Marvin Bracy out of Boone in Orlando, Florida is the definition of Florida speed. He won the 100-meter in the state meet as a sophomore last spring with a blazing 10.19, a state record. Last May during a combine at his high school Bracy clocked a 4.38 forty, showing he's able to fly on a track or the football field.

Bracy currently has offers from Florida State, Miami, Mississippi, South Florida and Texas A&M, with more to follow.

"I'm getting mail from a lot of schools, but I would have to say mostly LSU, Texas A&M and East Carolina. I'm in contact with Florida State and Miami a too. I went on unofficial visits to both of them and like both a lot," Bracy stated.

He's going to have a tough decision next year, but right now he says all the schools are even in his eyes. He'll commit when he's ready, but wants to make sure his top choice has solid academics. "Right now every school is even. I might commit early I guess I'll have to wait and see how everything goes this summer and fall. I'm looking for academics first, sports will fall into place. Distance doesn't matter either, my education is more important me," he revealed.

Bracy has turned his focus this offseason to improving both his game and his test scores. "I've been really busy this offseason. I've improved a lot, and I've been working really hard. My grades are good, but will be better. I take the SAT on January 22 and I'm confident I'll do well," Bracy added.

He's got plenty of room for growth on the field, but has already shown he's very multidimensional on offense. He finished the season with 517 receiving yards 585 return yards and 370 yards rushing, with ten total touchdowns. "I feel that I did exceptionally well this season. I know I can continue to improve and will be even more productive next season," Bracy finished.
