FLORIDAKIDS.us CLASS OF 2005 RECRUITING EVALUATION:

While you can find out just so much about watching film on an athlete or talking to him on the phone, there is a major advantage to seeing the athlete live. I have been fortunate to see more high school football players in person in the state of Florida than any other source.

In these Recruiting Briefs, I will try and give you some quick points about the athlete. If you should need a more extensive evaluation, please feel free to e-mail me at FloridaKids1@hotmail.com.

I hope you enjoy this rare look into the football players in the state from a firsthand:

PLAYER: Matt Hardrick. SCHOOL: Orlando Edgewater POSITION: OL/DL HEIGHT: 6-4
WEIGHT: 330
www.floridakids.us PRE-SPRING RATING: 7

THE SCOOP ON THIS FLORIDA KID: Often times when there is a lot of build up and hype for an athlete, he never lives up to it. I believe that this is a situation where it will certainly will not be the case. This young man is the real deal.
EVALUATION: "When you have a lineman who is athletic, strong and can play the sport of football, you have someone who will play on Sundays.
After the Eagles lost to Miami Carol City in the 6A title game, the attention quickly shifted in his direction. This is someone who simply has it all, and if you combine all his positives with his ‘mean streak' on the football field, you have an individual who can dictate a game from the line of scrimmage. Here is one of those offensive tackles that colleges across the nation will fight over!"
THE INSIDE STORY: When you can showcase your abilities at a summer camp when all eyes are watching, get it done on the football field and relish going against the very best competition you can find, there is no reason to believe that success will not come your way – for a long, long time!
