As signing day 2004 has come and gone, new stars are starting to emerge across the Sunshine State. One of those on the horizon is Hollywood McArthur four-way star Kevin Holloway, who received a verbal offer from Rutgers, which is quickly becoming a Florida – North!

HOLLYWOOD – When it comes to McArthur High School, there was not much too cheer for this past season. That's unless you count the talented athlete Kevin Holloway.

The speedy (4.49) 5-foot-10, 175 pound running back, receiver and defensive back, has game-breaking ability. Last summer, he ran a sub 4.5 40 yard dash at the Rutgers camp, and now at the Nike Camp that was held at University of Miami this past weekend.

"I have watched Kevin the past three years and this is someone who needs to be watched," said Larry Blustein of "I see him as a defensive back at the next level, but he certainly has the quickness to become a forces as a kick and punt returner.

This past season Holloway had two interceptions on defense and led his team in pass break-ups. In limited action on offense he had 2 touchdowns receiving. On top of that he was impressive on special teams as well. Kevin returned one punt 80 yards for a touchdown and led his team in return yards. When he lined up for a punt or kick most of the time the opposition would try and keep the ball away from him.

On his recent camp experience, here is what Holloway had to say about his experiences: "I loved it." "It gave me an indication of where I stood against some of the other top prospects in Florida. It also showed me what I needed to work on this spring and summer."

Holloway had one of the best forty times as he ran in 4.4 seconds. On top of that his vertical jump of 36" was one of the best at the camp, which only illustrates how impressive this young man can be.

Holloway's camp schedule this summer will include Rutgers. When he spoke to and, he mentioned his experience at Rutgers last year: "Rutgers was great, I had a very good time up there. The facilities are second to none. I visited LSU and Miami and their facilities where even nicer than those two."

When it comes to college coaches that stand out in Holloway's mind: "I would say two of my favorite coaches are Greg Schiano and Joe Susan. Coach Schiano is real; he talks to you like a man. He is very honest and that is very important to me when it comes to choosing a school to play at. I also would not mind playing for someone like Coach Schiano."

So where will Holloway camp this summer, "I am going back to Rutgers and will also visit FSU, NC State and Georgia."

Holloway is also scheduled to attend the first ever Perfect Competition/ Camp/Combine in Davie, Fl. on March 12-13.

Right now the only team to offer Holloway is the Rutgers Scarlet Knights. UCF and NC State are the other two schools that have shown the most interest at this time.
