At 6-4 and 185 pounds with 4.4 speed in the forty, Goodman is one of the top receiver prospects in the state of Georgia this year. He had 37 catches for 517 yards and five touchdowns as a junior, and he is looking to have an even bigger year this fall.
"I think my size and speed are probably my biggest strengths," said Goodman. "I'm tall, but I have quick feet to get off the line of scrimmage. I can jump pretty high, and I want to work this summer on getting stronger and just catching as many balls as I can to stay sharp."
Goodman is planning on going to the Nike Camp at Auburn in two weeks, but he hasn't set his summer camp schedule yet.
"The Nike Camp is the only camp that I know I'm going to. I'm not sure after that. I'm pretty wide open right now when it comes to schools, but if I had to name five they would probably be Stanford, Maryland, Georgia, Georgia Tech, and Auburn."
Goodman has the size and speed to become a major weapon on the next level, and he will be a player to watch for this fall for the Newnan Cougars
