Jeremy Ciulla is emerging as one of the top offensive tackle prospects in the south this year. He has not been playing football for long, but he has the frame and the quickness that coaches covet at 6-5 and 275 pounds with a 5.0 forty time. He has already received offers from Maryland, Florida State, LSU, and Georgia Tech, and more are certainly on the way.
"Stanford told me that if I can get my SAT score up some, that they would likely offer," said Ciulla who has a 3.5 GPA and a 1050 SAT currently. "I'll probably go to camps at Georgia, Auburn, and maybe Tennessee. I like either Georgia or Auburn the best right now, probably Georgia, but they're pretty close. If I had to name a top five I would probably add LSU, Stanford and Miami as the other three schools."
When asked about his strengths on the field, a humble Ciulla deferred to those that watch him.
"Coaches say that I am pretty quick off the ball and that I have really good feet. I want to work on getting stronger in the weight room this summer."
True offensive tackles are worth their weight in gold literally in the NFL, and they are just as coveted in the college ranks, and Ciulla will be one of the most heavily recruited big men in the south this year.
