DB to watch for in '04

Daniel Nabors came on late last season to be a full time starter for a very good North Gwinnett team. He is a tall cover corner prospect that could play safety on the next level. He is working with David Irons Sr. in the offseason to become a better player, and it is paying off. He has gotten his forty time down to 4.5, and his improved technique was evident at the Nike Camp in Auburn on May 18th.

When it comes to recruiting, that's a little too far ahead in Nabors sites right now.

"To be honest with you, I'm just doing my best to focus on the season in front of me. I haven't really even started thinking about it. I am completely wide open, but if I had to name some teams, I guess I would say someone like Kentucky and South Carolina. I'm also going to look at a lot of the schools in Texas. I'll probably look at Clemson too. Like I said, I haven't really thought about it yet."

Nabors will more than likely be forced to think about it when teams see him at camps this summer, and he begins to be recruited more heavily. For now though, Nabors is focused on the task at hand, and that is good news for North Gwinnett.
