Screven County ended up winning the game 15-14, and when Adrian Griffin is asked, there's no doubt in his mind either. He called a fair catch.
It was the type of play that will be remembered for a long time by the members of each team. While the game was only a quarter final match up, there was little doubt that the winner would eventually be the State Champion.
Reddick is one of the key players that hopes to bring Screven County back to the State Title game, but he is going to have his work cut out for him.
"I'm one of only like three guys returning on defense. I'm playing baseball right now, so I'm missing spring practice. I play a little bit of defensive end and linebacker, but I'll probably play outside linebacker on the next level. I really like Middle Tennessee State and Georgia Southern. I'd love to play at Georgia, but I have to keep working hard for that to happen. I'm also going to give Army and Navy a look."
Reddick has the tools to be a solid outside linebacker. At 6-1 and 200 pounds, Reddick has run as low as a 4.46, but consistently runs in the 4.55 range. He is ranked #5 in his class with a 4.0 GPA, and will have no trouble qualifying.
