TB picks up 2nd big time offer

Thomas Brown will make a run at the claim for the #1 RB in the state of Georgia this year because of his blazing speed and spectacular production as a junior. He rushed for 1,700 yards and 30 touchdowns last year, and while he won't discuss individual goals, he should make an assault on 2,000 this year.

"I haven't really set any individual goals," said Brown. "I just want to do whatever I can to help my team get to the state championship."

Brown does whatever he can on the field. In addition to rushing for 1,700 yards, he was third on the team in tackles at corner. He is a legit D1 prospect as a defensive back as well as runner.

Brown had an early offer from Georgia, and he has picked up his second offer of the season.

"Penn State has offered me now too," said Brown. "I went to Furman with our team last year. I want to try and get to camps at Florida State, Maryland, Auburn, and Penn State this summer. Those four teams plus Georgia are the five teams I am looking at the most right now. They're all pretty even."
