Demiko Goodman is one of the top wide receiver prospects in the south. He is getting heavy consideration for the Southern Hot 100 team. At 6-4 and 185 pounds, Goodman is one of the top track athletes in the country. He didn't get a chance to catch the ball much last season in Newnan's wing-t offense, but he will have ample opportunity this season as a new offensive coordinator is coming in.
College coaches have seen enough potential in Goodman to offer him a scholarship, and he now has a solid list of offers to choose from.
"I now have offers from Maryland, Georgia, Auburn, South Carolina, and Duke," said Goodman. "My favorites right now though are Maryland, Georgia, Florida State, Florida, and Auburn. I like them all about equal right now."
Goodman won the 400 meter event in the state finals this year with a 47.2 team, and he will be running with the New Horizons Track Club this summer. He is heading to California and Canada to compete in meets this month.
