A Super DE
"I pride myself on being the team leader and I lead by example," Johnson said. "I am a quick player with size, speed and strength. I consider myself a very good pass rusher." Back in February, Johnson made his recruiting decision and committed to the Georgia Bulldogs. "I love coach (Mark) Richt. He has really turned around Georgia and he is a good Christian man. I also like the entire coaching staff and their facilities. I did commit early but I am still looking at some other schools and I want to take some visits." Johnson also plays basketball (18 points, 11 rebounds), track and field and tennis. Here is what his coach, Lee Campbell, told Scott Kennedy of TheInsiders.com in February. "They're recruiting him to play defensive end, but shoot, he played about everything for us last year. He scored touchdowns on an 80 yard kickoff return, an 80 yard reception, interception and fumble returns, and rushing of course. He scored touchdowns just about every way possible for us. He rushed for 500 yards behind one of our 2,000 yard rushers in Elijah Clark. He can do it all."
