Greg Sudderth is a tall, fluid defensive back prospect that is getting good attention across the south. He is an outstanding baseball player as well as being a top notch football player. He is busy playing baseball in summer leagues, but he is still finding time to make it to football camps as well. I caught up with him on Saturday as he was headed for Nashville.
"I'm going to Vanderbilt's camp this weekend," said Sudderth. "I'm not sure which camps I am going to after that. I'm still playing baseball this summer. Georgia Tech has offered me a scholarship to play football so far. I'm really looking at anyone on the east coast that is interested in me. I'm really wide open."
When asked if it was football or baseball that would take up the majority of his time on the next level, Sudderth was clear.
"My future is in football."
At 6-3 and close to 190 pounds, Suddeth plays wide receiver and corner for the three time State Champion Parkview Panthers, and he will get his first shot at defensive back on the next level.
