Booker and his Mays teammates went to Auburn last Thursday and Friday, and he impressed more than a couple of TheInsiders.com recruiting analysts. His Mays team won the two day passing competition, beating a loaded Tucker team twice in overtime over the course of the competition. Booker earned a scholarship offer from Auburn last week with his impressive showing.
"We got to tour the campus and see all of the facilities while I was here," said Booker. "I had a really good time. I toured the campus with Thomas Brown of Tucker. Auburn offered me a scholarship after my performance at the camp. I know I want to take all of my visits before I make a decision."
Auburn was Booker's first D1 offer, but as more and more coaches get to see him throw the ball, it will not be his last. Booker will be participating in the Governor's Honors program this summer in Executive Business Management as well as showcasing his arm at various camps around the country.
