GA linebacker names 2 leaders

Gerald McRath is a very good linebacker prospect from McEachern High School in Powder Springs, GA that will be a player to watch this fall. McRrath had 80 solo tackles, 10 tackles for loss, 4 forced fumbles, and 7 sacks as a junior.

"I'm being recruited at outside linebacker and strong safety right now," said McRrath. "I've been hearing from Georgia, Auburn, North Carolina, and Cincinnati the most right now. I grew up a North Carolina fan, and right now Auburn and North Carolina are my two favorite schools. I went to Southern Miss for a camp last month, and I'm going to Auburn this month. I'd say my best attribute right now is that I go sideline to sideline, and I like to hit."

McRath was a standout at the Auburn Nike Camp when he measured in at 6-2 and 201 pounds and had a 4.62 forty time. He is an excellent wrestler with good explosion, and he posted a 31.6 vertical at the camp last month.
