The Ohio State Buckeyes picked up a verbal commitment from defensive line prospect Frank Morton from Decatur (Ga.) Southwest Dekalb High School. Morton, 6-4 and 290 pounds, ran a 4.9 forty at the Auburn Nike Camp last month.
"I committed to Ohio State," Morton said. "I camped there and I like their facilities. I can see myself there for four years and grow as a person and as a ball player. I would still like to take some official visits but I am committed to the Buckeyes."
Morton had scholarship offers from Louisville, Auburn, NC State and Indiana among others.
Morton is a defensive tackle prospect that is considered one of the top defensive linemen from the Peach State. Look for him to appear in the Southern Top 100 released by TheInsiders.com next week.
