Top GA ATH runs a 4.34 forty

Zach Smith is being overshadowed but his more highly touted teammate Darius Walker, but he is every bit the football player and prospect.

Smith is one of the most impressive athletes in the state of Georgia this year. At 5-11 and 202 pounds, Smith ran a 4.45 forty on a fast day at Auburn at the Nike Camp, but he wasn't done yet. Two weeks ago I saw him run a 4.34 on the track at the Fellowship Sports Combine held at Stephenson High School. He plays outside linebacker and fullback in high school, but he has his eye on another position on the next level.

"I'd like to play strong safety in college," said Smith. "I've been to camps at Duke and Vanderbilt. I haven't gotten any offers yet, but I like Duke, Vanderbilt, Air Force, Wake Forest, NC State, and Clemson the best right now."

Smith hasn't gotten any formal offers yet, but he will be a four year player for one of the best programs in the state of Georgia in the AA Buford Wolves.
