Georgia Safety has first offer

Eric Williams of Metter helped lead his team to the State Semi-Finals last year playing wide receiver and free safety. It was at safety that Williams really made a mark with 114 tackles and four interceptions, and it is at safety that he is getting the most attention from college coaches.

"I'm being recruited to play free safety right now," said Williams. "I haven't gone to any camps yet, but I'm going to Georgia Tech, Florida, and probably Maryland. Maryland has offered me a scholarship, and I'm looking at them, Florida, Florida State, Auburn, Georgia Tech, and Arkansas."

At 6-3 and 190 pounds, Williams is an excellent overall athlete that was named MVP of his basketball team. He is a 3.8 Student that has already made a qualifying test score on his SAT.
