Hot 100 Quarterback Cullen Harper made a commitment to the Clemson Tigers late last night. The strong armed Georgian has an excellent frame and is poised for a big senior season. After laboring much of the year in Sequoyah's wing-t offense, the shot gun was installed this summer to help open up the offense in certain situations and take advantage of Harper's strong arm.
Harper almost committed to Clemson earlier in the summer, and last night he made it official.
"The first time I went to Clemson, it felt like home," said Harper. "I really like the coaching staff, and I've been very impressed with Coach O'Cain, the quarterbacks' coach. Everything about it is a good place, and it's a place I am looking forward to spending the next four or five years of my life."
Harper's best days as a quarterback are ahead of him, and this was a very good pickup for the Clemson Tigers.
