GA OL Pulls the Trigger

Hamilton Holliday of Walton High School in Marietta, GA has made a commitment to play in the SEC.

Hamilton Holliday is a three star offensive line prospect by TheInsiders.com, and he is widely considered one of the top center prospects in the south. He has gotten his recruitment over with this week with a commitment to Vanderbilt. Holliday chose the Commodores over offers from Clemson, Duke, Indiana, Louisville, and Tulane.

"I made a commitment to Vanderbilt," said Holliday. "I like the fact that they are in the SEC, and it's a great school. They have been my favorite coaching staff so far, and I went to camps at Vanderbilt, Clemson, Duke, North Carolina, and Stanford. Coach Cain is recruiting me for Vanderbilt. It's just a good place to be really. My Grand-dad went to Vanderbilt, and I know he wanted me to go there, and I just really started liking it."

Holliday has been working out with the team and with a personal trainer all summer, and he is now benching 375 pounds with a squat of 440.

Walton High School opens up with a big region showdown with McEachern at the Georgia Dome on Saturday August 30th.
